About This Project
When new owner Sara Newman purchased the Centre of Performing Arts in 2020, she envisioned a new start for the dance studio that had been operating in Graham, NC since the 1950s (originally known as The Eloise Glass Dance Studio). Newman came to us needing a new logo and brand identity that would position the studio as the leader in quality dance instruction and incorporate the elegant lines of a dancer with the bold initials of the studio, COPA.
Our graphic designer produced four initial logo designs, and Newman found what she was looking for among those options. After a few minor edits, the new COPA logo and color scheme made their debut on printed t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, water bottles, magnets, tote bags, backpacks, an entry rug, and a banner.
Newman hired MVP Video & Promotions to record her dance recitals and to provide digital download access for each dance number from each show to the parents and families. Enrollment at the studio has increased substantially during and coming out of the pandemic, and Newman sees a renewed sense of pride in the kids and parents who call COPA their dance home.
