Specialty Decorating Techniques
In addition to traditional t-shirt printing and embroidery, we also offer these specialty decorating techniques.
Hi-Def-AccuColor
Four color process printing that creates a full spectrum of colors ideal for photographic imprints on garments
Water Base
Environmentally friendly inks that penetrate fabric more than plastisol inks and have a softer feel
Metalic Foil
A reflective foil overlay is placed on and adheres to a plastisol base layer.
HiRes Halftones
Fine dots are used to simulate shading to create realistic images.
Discharge Ink
A chemical is used to remove dye from fabric. Water based ink can be used with discharge to create imprints with no ink build up to create soft designs.
Vintage Fade & Retail Soft
Vintage fade uses fine mesh screens so less ink passes through the screen allowing the shirt color to partially show through. Retail soft is similar but uses halftones to create a soft hand or feel.
Glitter Flake
Ink with metallic flakes (usually gold or silver) to create a sparkle effect
Laser Etch
Offers a tonal look that works well on heavy fabrics
Puff Embroidery
Uses a foam base layer to create a 3D or raised appearance
Applique
Created by sewing one piece of cloth to another to add dimension and texture. Looks best on heavier garments
